Brief Biography

Yin Mei Ng is a lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Economics of The University of Hong Kong. She received her M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The University of Houston and her B.A. in Psychology from Purdue University.

Ms. Ng has over ten years of teaching experience in undergraduate business program at The University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining The University of Hong Kong, Ms. Ng worked in the private sector including at a Big Four accounting firm providing human capital advisory consulting services and at a leading multinational company providing training and people development.

Ms. Ng has extensive experience in providing management consultancy to local and global organizations on service marketing, customer satisfaction and loyalty, organizational management, and corporate training. Partial list of her clients include the Hong Kong Association for Customer Service Excellence, Hong Kong Jockey Club, 3M Hong Kong, Organisation Solutions (Singapore), and Texaco (United States).

Besides her experiences in the areas of university education, management consultancy, and managerial work in the private sector, Ms. Ng has published her research papers in academic journals and presented at the conferences of American Psychological Association (APA) and Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) in the United States.
