Building on
a Century of Excellence

Dean's Message

 Prof. Eric Chang

The Faculty of Business and Economics is dedicated to nurturing leaders and senior executives from all sectors. As one of the world’s financial hubs, Hong Kong combines the strengths of G7 economies and emerging markets that make the city and HKU an optimum cradle for business elites.

The Faculty’s Executive Education programmes aim at supporting seasoned professionals to sail through the complex international and regional markets, and to come up with innovative business solutions applicable to any part of the global economic map. We tailor the programmes to market needs, helping private corporations and public organisations to keep abreast of the latest information in pursuit of sustained success.

The Faculty has proven excellence on teaching and research, which are spearheaded by a dynamic team of scholars and facilitated  by our research centres whose output has been highly regarded by both the academic and business communities. Incorporating first-class education and up-to-date market information, we provide business leaders and professionals, not only a pathway to advance the corporate ladder, but also a refreshing touch on their knowledge and experience that empowers them to bring positive impact to their own organisations.

I sincerely invite you to learn more about us and our Executive Education programmes. I also look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you to our family where quality business leaders are nurtured.
