​General Course Description for MEcon Courses

MBA and Master of Finance (MFin) Courses

To widen the range of elective courses available, students in the MEcon Programme are permitted to take up to two electives from the Master of Finance Programme, subject to availability and approval of the Programme Director. A limited number of electives from the MBA Programme are also opened to MEcon students with some work experience.

Graduation Requirements

Students are required to successfully complete ten courses. Students who have failed a course shall be required to retake the course. If the failed course is an elective, students may choose to take another elective course as a substitute. In order to graduate, the total number of failures cannot exceed two in the entire period of study and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above must be achieved.
